Hello all, I just bought a 1946 (?) MH101 SR with serial # 270624. I know nothing about Massey Harris so I need some help to get started. First, the previous owner said it ran fine until the carb float fills up (it has a hole). Where can I get a carb kit and/or float? Also, the PTO location just has a plate for some reason. Any helpful information?
Thanks,
TN

If you have the MS Trx36, they don't make carb kits for them anymore. A float wouldn't come with a kit anyway... you'll have to drill another tiny hole and blow the gas out and then solder up both holes. My carb wouldn't work at all, so I sent it off to one of these carb places back east. I think I sent mine to Treadwell Carb.

As far as the PTO plate. It's anyones guess. It possibly came from the factory without a pto, but more than likely, something went wrong with it, and it was removed.
