MF 250 no PTO or lift

I have a 250 MF that has no pto in any selector setting , no grind, no turn, no nuttin . The shaft spins freely by hand but no other movement happens! Also my lift does not lift at all . Are they related ? The tractor has a 232loader on it and it works fine !

HELP I have to get it fixed quick before the weeds grow over the mower and I cant find the tractor :)

I did some more thinking, it could be the pto shaft. The splines on the shaft could be worn. Pull the shaft out the back of the tractor, and check. The gear inside the housing could also be worn.

Yes they are related. The pto shaft is what drives the hydraulic pump which lifts the three point system. Something may have happened to the pump, but not sure. Good Luck.
