I have seen this on several massey's including my 135. Between where the top link connects and above the pto shaft there is a long pin that goes through three lobes. I have never found anyone that could tell me what this is used for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We had a Ferg 30 that came with a neat swinging drawbar that attached to an attaching plate on bottom of tractor and had two irons that went up and mounted with this pin you are revering to. It was a good system much improved over the bar you put in the regular lift arms and and support straps that pinned up at the top link point.

I have one of these for a 2085 - Wonder if it will fit on my "new to me" MF 35?

Anyone tried it?

I belive you will also find out that that this is for stabilizer bars for drawbar on lift arms as well as other implements.

We had a MF post-hole digger that fitted onto the lower links and those holes you mentioned. Here in the UK the old type MF pick up hitch "T" bar used to use those holes too.

Holds the stabilizer bars they used to use on old implements or a fixed tow hitch on the old TEA fergies. Not normally used nowadays.

If you have the pin you are talking about, hold on to it. I use mine with a round bale hayfork. This takes pressure off the top link piston. I also hook the chain on my disc mower to keep the weight off the lift. I had a mounted corn picker that hooked with this pin also.
