I thought I would let you guys know about a Fergie featured on the Junkyard Wars show on TLC. They used it to power a tug boat by welding a hull around it (it looked like two dumpsters) and removing the wheels, adding paddles. It was pretty neat, and won, too, but the opposing team had a lot of mechanical problems. It will probably be on again this weekend, so keep an eye out. I don't know much about Fergies, it was one of the 35 variations with the rounded sheetmetal, sharp little tractor.

Have a good one, Fireman from Farmall country

I saw the same program, what a sham!! if anyone thinks that a MF 35 is to be found in a scrap yard in that good a condition let me know, it even started first time.I like the show but you have to admit some things are planted there for them to use.

I seem to remember on the "behind the scenes" show they said they use "only the highest quality junk".

Seems a waste of a good tractor to me, but it's still a pretty neat show.

Take care, Fireman
