MF 135 Oil Filter

I stopped at a local NAPA dealer and inquired about a oil filter for my MF 135 he gave me a NAPA 1010 filter. the filter looks somewhat differant than the one I took out. Will this filter work or should I go to a MF dealer and purchase one. Appreciate the Help

You did not specify which engine is in your 135.There are two filter listings for the Z145 gas engine, a 1010 and a 1080. Do not know what the difference would be. There is also two listings for the diesel. They are 1188 and 1460. If you have the perkins gas engine there is only one listing, 1188. You can look up the filters that you are interested in on wixfilters.com. The difference in the wix part number vs the NAPA number is the first digit. Wix begins with a 5. Hope this helps

Massey-Ferguson P/N 835817M91 crosses over to NAPA P/N 1010 or Fleetguard P/N LF574.That's for the Continental gas engine.Not the Perkins Diesel
