Can't seem to find ser.#'s on my tractor...MF175...dsl...1975...On the side of the engine (right) it says BILCHROME and under that it says 37112600 X.....under that...U184
Found another # on tran case 894-682-MI...Stamped on a plate on the left side below the instr panel it says FG 70 3610 but the rest of the plate is worn off...it's across from the plate that has the starting instructions (also worn off 90%) ANY help would be great. Thanks ahead of time, Lynch

bilchrome is the name of the company that made the casting. Try looking on the side of transmission about where your left foot goes for serial # plate.

HI! I just stumbled in here, Bilchrome is/maybe the foundry name like Qualcast, and even Mowog, Bilchrome cast Humber & Commer engine blocks and more & I understand many other British Marques. What I would like to know is if Bilchrome was in fact more then just a Foundry name, Maybe in the instance of engine blocks = Chromium Iron ? Regards
