PGS in the serial number would designate a Pony tractor, Gas engine and a Standard front axle, manufactured in 1947 & 48. There were 121,000 manufactured in fifteen years of production, 90,000 in Marquette, France and 29,000 in Woodstock, Canada

Hi Dick, Yes the Massey Harris Pony was made in Canada. Probably in Woodstock Ontario. The alternative would be Toronto Ontario. But I believe somewhere in the past I was told that the Pony was built in Woodstock. I could find out for sure if it was of interest to you. Dave

Hello, Your Pony is a 1949. If the s/n is PGA7364A. It should of been made late in the year. The numbers for that year are:1,571 - 10,816. The P G A stands for P ony G as A djustable front end. Hope this helped - ALAN

According to my book it is a 1949. P stands for Pony, G for Gasoline, & A for adjustable front end.
