I just rebuilt a Y-91. The Y-91 I found had the embossed cast number ground off and Y-91 stamped.
May have been Y-112 cast not sure. It was not for a M-H tractor because the oil filler has a long neck and can get in the way of the alternator. Dimensionally it matched origanl block and all blot patterns matched. I got my parts from Montes equip in Chicago. Used visa card and got them in a few days. He sent New Old Stock continental parts in old continental boxes. I have con rods and crank, pan etc for Y-91 if your looking. [email protected]

.
I found this in a forum archive...
The Continental industrial section (the unit that sold truck, tractor, and other industrial engines was located in Muskegon, Michigan. When Teledyne took over, the Muskegon plant was shut down. All the parts stock and engine specs were sold to Montes Equipment Co. in Chicago. They still carry some parts and have a web site.

I would be willing to bet this engine was made by Continental Motors in Muskegon, MI. I have lived here for a lot of years and that company has changed hands quite a few times. Teledyne owned it for quite a while and phased out the division they used to call "industrial engine division". In the mid 70's they were still operating that plant. Teledyne abandoned the industrial line somewhere around the late 70's. The remaining operation was purchased by General Dynamics from Teledyne around 7~8 years ago. I would try to give them a call and ask if there is anyone still there that you could talk to about that engine type. You will find 2 phone numbers, you want the one on Getty Street. Zip code for Muskegon is 49441.

Hope this helps.

The H260 continental engine has a 3-7/8 bore. You can also put 4-inch pistons and 4-1/16 pistons into the H260 block. The 3-7/8 bore is the origanal size.
