Hi guys. A co-worker is considering a purchase of a 1978 Massey 135. Tractor has been on the farm entire life and is in what he describes as "average" condition. Rubber is in good shape, paint good, rad hasn't been run into tree (yet), 3-point all in good shape, and very little sign of ANY oil leaks in engine and drivetrain.

What's she worth?

Pick up a 135 with 10 implements for 4000.00 a few weeks back, tractor was just over hauled bottom up plus clutch replaced. Tractor no beauty queen but did not buy it for looks.

Got my 135 for 2,500.00 but would not sell it for less then 5,000.00 and they seem to go for around 2,500.0 to 5000.00 depending on the tractor. Most are around 3,800 to 4,500 around here. Mark H.

Thanks Mark. I was just thinking that the traffic is a little slower on this board. And wouldn't you know, my first response is from another N-board regular.

That is the nice part about owning a MF 135 and also have owned a TO-20, TO-30, 9N, 2N, 8N, Golden Jubilee, John Deere MT, Panzer, Tucker Sno-Cat and the Mighty Mite. Sure do like my Massey 135!! I just got another 8N too. Mark H.
