Will MF 135 work with a tiller?

I'm currently searching far and wide for a MF 135 diesel and would like to know if these tractors are suitable for use with a tiller (are groundspeed and power appropriate?) What is the largest size tiller they'll work with if so? What year did the 135 get power steering?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
Casey

I have a Kubota 1520C (1.5 mtrs) tiller which I use on my MF135 and find it is a perfect combination. The hydraulics on the MF135 make it easy to set and use. It would probably handle a larger tiller if required.

We sold quite a few 6 ft tillers to people with MF135 at our dealership. They handled them pretty good. In real tight soil they would sometimes have to make two passes over it to get it the depth they wanted. Most people wanted the 6 ft because it would cut out the tire tractors.

How about a MF 210? I cannot seem to find a five foot rotary tiller that is light enough for my MF210 (25 hp diesel, about a 1979 model).

Hey Big Dean your right as usual! I bought a 6'tiller about 2yrs. ago and my tractor has no problem.Like you said,at its max depth you need to go slower so as not to strain the tractor but man does it make powder of the soil!I have a MF135 diesel.I would guess the max. depth on mine would be 10".
