Does anyone know where I can get a book on the history of M/F tractors? I tried our local book store but they did not have any information. I am particularly interested in the developement of the M/F 50 diesel tractor. Thanks in advance...

I have a super book, The Big Book of Massey Tractors by Pripps/Morland,9 by 12 and 204 pages, not a tech manual by any means but a great book with lots of pictures, good information from Sawyer Masey up to The M F 1150's. Also a nice but less book with 127 pages, Massey Tractors by Wendel/Moreland that is good and Then have World Guide to Massey Harris, Ferguson and Massey Ferguson by John Farnworth which lists engine specs,transmisson speeds and more but doesn't give years these but just the models of the tractors. I have listed these as my preference of the way I would rate them. The Massey Tractor data book by Kieth Oltrogge is probably the best you can get for the money, lists all model with picture, serial number, production numbers and specs of most Massey Harris tractors. It is more a pocket size, 4 1/2 by 8, 143 pages but a great book for data.
