I am looking at a couple of Massey Fergusons 60 hp tractors. Both seem in good shape.

One has cast rear wheels and the other has steel stamped wheels. I assume the cast ones are heavier than the steel stamped wheels, I don't know by how much.

Is that the only difference? What is the advantage of the cast over the steel? Why would I want the cast? Why did Massey Offer them?

Well cast wheels aren't as prone to rusting out as stamped, but the weight difference makes a big deal in tillage work. As far as which tractor is better, it would depend on mechanical condition, tires, appearance, models, etc.
