I have a 165 diesel that has not had lights since I bought it. Two weeks ago I figured out which wires went where from alternator to voltage regulater.(someone unhooked all the wires a couple years ago). Last week I took the time to rewire all the lights. It was so cool to go out and use a breaking disk (12') after dark. All the neon? gauge lights work as well! Just goes to show you some jobs don't take that long if you just get down to it. After doing something like this, I always wonder why I didn't do it years ago. P.S. Snow here today.

no lights means a warm spot by the stove at night

I wont fix mine. Heck dang, why would I want to work my machine at night anyway? lol.

There is some satisfaction with having it right without a fight. The rear light is the one I was happiest to have working again. But thats because I do everthing backwards anyhoot.
