I have rebuilt the carburator on my TO-30 and I
have had a good running tractor for about the first half tank of gas but since then the tractor will
start then die in a matter of a few seconds.
If I hold the choke out it will stay running just barley and thats at full throttle. I did take the carurator off and blew all the ports out but it
still has the same problem? Can anybody give me some good advice? Thanks:)

It sound to me like your gas line or probably the valae is almost stop up if the tank has rust or trash in it everything will flow to the valve there is enough restriction to make the trash build up in the valve it will let very little gas flow to the carburator. The valve may have a screen inside the tank. Remove line from carburator blow back though it and it should run ok for a little while that is a problem I fought the whole time I work massey tractors

Re: Web address for Central Tractor in reply to Gregg, 01-25-2000 17:17:07
I was at the CT store in Shelbyville Tn, yesterday (Mon 01/24) and mgr, there stated they did not have a web address yet but were working on it. Someone there also advised me that the first appearence of the catalog was when they hand them out each year at the Louisville tractor show around the end of Jan; or first of Feb, then they appear in the store's about a week to ten days later. Cranky Yanky
