Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction for details on my 35X?? Its serial number located on RH side of dash reads SNMY W 37 72090.

It's the de luxe version with multi power.

As for the last two letters:

Y is differential lock
W is Multi-Power

Mr. Hertz, You left me hanging. What does the "M" mean? I was just guessing that it meant "Multi-power", and you straightened me out.
Thanks,
C. T.

I am not sure, but I believe the "M" is multi-power. The "Y" indicates that it has a differential lock. My 1964 is not multi-power and does have the dual clutch, the differential lock and is a Perkins A3.152, standard width, but my serial number begins with "SNFY". I have no idea what the "W" means.

Tony,
Your tractor was built in 1964, the last year of manufacture of the 35. The 35X with multipower was introduced in Dec, 1962, so production only ran for 2 years. Prefix letters are as follows S = standard width. N = Diesel engine, Perkins A3. 152 M = Dual clutch
I'm not sure about Y and W, but no doubt one of them refers to the fact that multipower was fitted.
Regards,
Peter.
