I bought a 1975 model massey 235 in 97, it had a power steering leak around the steering wheel shaft. I had it repaired and it didn't leak for a couple of years. It's leaking again. I know about the problems of the 235 power steering now.I need to know if it is someone with some knowledge on correcting it. thank you

No, don't put a manual box on it. It can be fixed with a little effort. I don't know much about the 235 but have run massey for 20+ years. My 180 done the same thing early this spring, the coupler that connects the steering shaft to the hydraulic hand pump lost its grip, once I removed all the sheet metal from around the steering it was an easy fix, a new bolt. If you dont have a full set of manuals, get them and study up then go to work.

Get three manuals: Operator's, Repair, Parts. Then fix it right.
