SAME AS THE GVI MOLINE WITH MASSEY SHEET METAL.I KNOW THAT OLIVER MADE SOME 98 MASSEY ( OLIVERS )WITH THE 371 DETROITS. DID MOLINE DO THE SAME AND CALLED IT A SUPER 95 ? I'm up in Saskatchewan and we had a lot of super 95's in this area. I have one, though I've never checked the year but it's early 60's. A good strong tractor with smooth power and good power steering but poor hydraulics.

I don't know of any super 95's that were gas. There was probably 95's (the MMGB) that were, but I can't find my book right now.

Dear Danny, I dug through my information, and found the data on MF95's and Super 95's. The MF 95 was built in 1958 and 1959. The MF Super 95 was built from 1960 to 1962. The information that I gave you in my previous post, was incorrect. The MF 95 was a MM GBD built tractor, and the Super 95, was a MM GVI built tractor. The MF Super 95 diesel, with front wheel assist, was a MM G704 built tractor. Go to the archives, on this website, and you can find the serial number listing on Jan. 26, 2002, with the title "Massey 95 Serial Numbers". I hope this helps.

Happy Tractoring, Ken

Dear Danny, I'm sorry, the serial number listing is on another website, in their discussion forum. At that time, I was the one seeking this information. To make it easier for you, I will post that information here.

1959 15600451-15601100

MF95 Super Diesel 4wd (MMG704)

You can find this information on the Twin City and Minneapolis Moline tractor and tractor pulling website, on their discussion forum, under the heading "Massey 95 Serial Numbers", posted by me, on Jan. 24, 2002. The web address is: www.members.sitegadgets.com/Fiorelli/board'648.html. I hope this helps you.

Danny, The MF 95, Super 95, and the 97 were MM manufactured tractors, with MF sheet metal. The 95 series tractors were based on the MM GVI tractor, with the 425 CID engine. The MF97 was based on the MM G 705 tractors, with the 504 CID engine. I believe that the MF 95 series tractors were produced for the Canadian market. The MM 705/MF 97 was tested at Nebraska, with test numbers 835 and 836.
