You can turn up the fuel delivery setting on your injection pump pretty easily. Remove the inspection plate on the outside of the injection pump, which is held in place by two small bolts. If the sealing wire is still intact, you will have to remove it. Turn the engine until tou can see a slot in the internal rotor plate. This slot will be either 3 mm deep or 5.5 mm deep. Continue rotating the engine until you see a 3/8" twelve point bolt head. Loosen this with a 3/8" twelve point box end wrench. You only need to loosen it, not unscrew it much. Continue turning the engine until you see another twelve point bolt head and loosen that. Make a note of the position of the screw in relation to the slotted hole in the plate because this is the position you will want to return the setting to when you are not pulling with it, otherwise you will use alot more fuel and create alot of smoke. To increase the fuel delivery, if the pump plate slot was 3 mm, move the slotted plate clockwise as viewed from the tractor seat, and if the slot is 5.5 mm, turn the plate counterclockwise. You do not need to move the plate much-maybe 1/16 to 1/8 inch. Tighten the screws evenly, install the plate, bleed the fuel system and start the tractor. When accelerating the tractor, you should note an increase in the exhaust smoke and if you put the tractor in high gear and start to move from a standing stop, you should note an increase in the engine power in picking up the load. Be careful of how much smoke you are generating because this will be an obvious sign to the tractor pulling officials that you have turned up your pump, if they care about such things. You may want to reduce the setting if you feel you are getting too much. Hope this helps and HAVE FUN !!

I'd post that on the pulling board.
