What is the h.p. of these tractors? Do these tractors have live power? power steer? rear remote? Ive seen pictures of a few of these and like the style. Are parts any problem to find? what is a good price for one in good cond. with straight sheet metal?

I fixed two gas tanks in my life, both without welding. One I removed from the inside of my pickup, drained, wire brushed and used JB Weld. I used the pickup for another 2 yrs with no problem. The second one was a small tank off of a rotortiller, I used the stuff from J C Whitney, drained the tank, removed it, it had rust inside so I put in some sand/gravel, slushed it around for a few minutes and emptied the tank, poured in the stuff from Whitney and haven't had a problem with it since. This leak was in a seam.

Iown a MF 50, with a Perkins Diesel engine. It is a sweet machine.

They have a live PTO, and also a lever on the left side of the trannie so you can choose "Ground Speed" or "Engine Speed" on your PTO. There are two outlets on the front of the housing under the seat for Hydraulics and a single return plug on the left rear side of the casting.

Around here in Missouri a decent example will run a good $5,500 at any of the dealers and will not last long!

Your Massey Ferguson Dealer will be able to order you an owners manual and all parts are still available.

I have a MF-50 with live pto but no power stearing. It is a great smaller tractor with any of the 3 point equiptment but is very hard to turn with the loader on it.

THE 50-AND 65 ARE EXELANT TRACTORS.THE 50 HAS ABOUT 37 PTO HP-I CANT TELL YOU WHAT THE ENGINE HP IS.BUT IT SHOULD BE AROUND 45 HP,THE 50 IS BASICALLY THE SAME AS A MF 35 FOR PRACTIAL PURPOSES.--THE 65 IS 52 ENGINE HP.AND 42 PTO HP.THIS IS CONSIDERED A 4 BOTTOM PLOW TRACTOR.THEY BOTH WERE OFFERED WITH POWER STEERING AND A LIVE PTO.I HAVE A 65 GAS THAT WAS IN EXELANT ORIGINAL CONDITION WHEN I BOUGHT IT ORIGINAL PAINT,-NO DENTS,AND VERY LIGHT SURFACE RUST IN SMALL AREAS. ITS RUNS EXELANT NO SMOKE NO LEAKS. IT HAS 4,900 HOURS, AND I DONT BELIEVE IT HAS EVER BEEN TORN DOWN, EVERY NUT AND BOLT IS ORIGINAL. I PAID 3,000 FOR IT,--AND WORTH EVERY PENNEY.
