I recently purchased a massey ferguson tractor and cannot find the model number. The patent tag is in place, however the model number is not on the plate.
Everything has been painted over. The serial number is 9A T62I76. I think it is a MF 135. Does anyone know if the model number was punched in another place on the tractor?

Post a picture of it & I'm sure it would be easy enough to identify. If your looking for the year of manufacture, look at the front of the sump area ( lay on your back & go under the front between the wheels ) There should be a casting of the date of manufacture.I'm in Aust ( home of the 'roo ) and couldnt seem to i.d my 135 age & then was told about the casting as mentioned above. Found it straight away. Good luck.
