I am looking for any informattion about a Massy harris 44gr serial # 16953 It has what looks like a factory wide front, live power, power stearing, and some sort of cultivator lift. Is this a common configuration for this tractor? What is a tractor like this worth in average condition?

Keith,
It should be a 1950 model, unless a cracked frame
is supplying the S/N of a donor 44. Stock model
would have central hydraulics, throttle down by
the dash, H260 4 cylinder engine, 13.6-38 rear
tires, on pressed steel rims(cast centers-optional). 6.00-16 front on pressed rims. You
mention live PTO clutch, does it function? No
slip, drag or chatter? Live clutch included disc
brakes, do they scream or leak oil? Engine rear
main seal leak? The lift is a joke, proper for
cultivators, but clutter. If running strong, no
smoke, no leaks, decent matched tires, good sheet
metal, no rear rim rot, some red and yellow color:
around 1K. Good luck.
