Just restored a TO35. Everyting works great except the throtle want stay in place when you open it up. I've tried to adjust the spring with no success. Help me if you can.

I had the same problem on my MF-65. Turns out there are two cork washers which regulate the tension on the throttle lever. They are right under the control panel on the MF-65. When they dried up, they no longer caused the friction needed to keep the throttle lever in place, so the throttle would not stay open. I don't know if the TO35 has the same set-up, but you might want to check.
