Hi I just put a new clutch in a Massey 165 Diesel. Having had to disconnect the fuel lines, they got air in them and I now need to bleed the system. Anybody know the procedure for doing this? This tractos belongs to a friend so I don't have the book for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jay

Open bleeder screws on injection pump - should be if it is a CAV , manualy pump fuel pump until no bublles of air are present . If your batterey is good , use starter sparingly if your fingers get sore . Then loosen 2 connections on injectors , repeat as before , tighten finger tight , back off slightly . Open throttle 3/4 , roll with starter , tractor should begin to fire , quit and tighten all connections , then restart----Bill

exactly what I've been doing on my MF 65. Works perfectly. You should see air bubbles coming out.
