Hello everyone, I got my Massey 230 running today and was going to do some mowing tomorrow but when I went to lift the brush mower it only lifts it so the rear mower wheel is about 2" off the ground,
If I go to the rear of the mower and help lift it it raises all the way and holds there, The 3pt doesnt leak down like the other tractors I have had, It will stay raised for 45 minutes with the mower hanging on it and the engine shut off, This mower is a 6 foot landpride and ways close to 1000 lbs is this to much for the 230's 3pt? Or is it time to rebuild the pump?

We had a 230 for years , if that mower weighs a 1000 libs , you need either a bigger tractor or a smaller mower . Must be some bushhog to weigh that much .

Thanks for the help guys, I got a couple e-mails and everyone said it was the adjustment on the master control spring, Big Dean was nice enough to send me some pictures on adjusting the stop and spring, I am going to tear it down next weekend, Thanks for your help! Oh yea, My landpride mower #RCR2572 weighs 1031, according to Landprides website anyway,
