In support of Lyn Bradshaws archived July 5/2001 same preblem, with no reply, my 1959 work bull will not back up either.I bought it last winter but did not use it until spring-at first it only missed reverse occasionaly and would correct with alternate foreward/reverse blips of the shuttle pedal. Now it only moves foreward- I know that I got some water in the 80/90 wt. mineral oil diff/hyd case through cracked shift boots, but cannot find where to check or add to the torque converter that supposedly takes Type "A" trans fluid { and what does that change-up to?} The I&T MF-14 manual is vague as to this. Also it is hard to find mineral oil here in Manitoba. It was previously Co-op brand GL1 , but long since unavailable, and no Massey dealer close. The industrial 204 has the standard dip stick off the right side diff. and also another dip along side the Reverser/shuttle pedal, where the 1964 MF35 does not with standard shift-Are both these the same reservoir, because the diff, seems to have no milkyness on the dip but front does? Any ideas?
