I put pistons, sleeves, valves, and valve guides in a Massey Ferguson 85 with a Continental gas engine and now it's bending push rods and breaking rocker arms. What causes this?

after thinking more i see you had the head worked on. your valves springs might be to long and the coils might bind under compression or the guides might be up out of the head to far so the top of the valves bottom out. did you have the head milled? how much? just some more ideas

the two things that come to mind you have the cam shaft timing wrong. marks not in line or you might have the wrong pistons that the valves are hitting the top of the piston. but i will bet it's the cam timing. good luck
