How is the system hooked up correctly? Can someone post me the electric diagram, or show me the link to the big dean's picture site.

Currently there are 4 wires leaving from the fuel gauge, is this ok? Also, i measured the resistance of the fuel probe, it was 710 OHMS between the connector and the ground, when the tank is more than half full, is this ok?

As i look to the wiring, i think the previous owner has rebuilt the whole electric system...
The wiring is made using the same cable that is used in buildings wirings...

Big Dean does have wiring diagrams for diff tractors..check his web site. When checking ohms on the sending unit..raise and lower the float (with tank almost empty) to get a top and lower range. Some guages need matched to the sending unit. You may need to check your type gauge against that. Also..if your tractor is a diesel Not familiar with MF168), it is possible that the extra wires are from an oil pressure switch that disconnects the fuel gauge when the engine is shut down. this is to protect the battery from discharging thru the fuel guage after ingnition is off. House gauge wiring is definetly NOT indicated here. Check with Big Dean. Good Luck
