I want to put a row crop rear end behind my 55 engine and frame.Also like to put narrow front under it. Is all this posible??? If so, does 30 or 44 make any difrence? I bet this churns the gray mater! THANKS FOR YUOR IDEAS!!!

The 30 and 44 uses the same pedistal but the 30 has smaller spindals and wheels. Best to use 44 as the 30 are prone to snap the axle under pressure. About the rest somebody with 55 knowledge needs to answer.

I have seen and know of a tractor that is a 44 rowcrop with a 55 engine in it. The hood(grille) is taller with a larger radiator from the 55 and some reworking on the steering shaft is needed to clear the starter which is on the oppisite side of a 55 then a 44
