I have a MF35 or a TO35, not sure which, how do I tell the difference, and what year it is? Secondly, I believe it is a 1962 model, but only because the previous owner so stated, (came with the house, I didn't buy it outright.) What is the tractor worth, it starts great, and runs very well, with no known mechanical defects.

TO35 stopped production in 59 and MF35 started production in 60. Best to check by serial number.

Ken...just did a quick search on ironsearch.com and found 11 MF35s. Can't tell a lot from descriptions, but most have pics. High is US$6500 in Idaho and it has a front loader. Low is US$2995 in Indiana. There are four in the USA and seven in Canada. Canadian ones run C$4500 to C$5750. I imagine you can get similar info on agdealer.com. Incidentally, these are all listings from dealers, so from a private party, prices might be lower. I bought mine from a retired school teacher who buys used tractors, restores and resells them.

Ken...This past spring, I bought a MF35 Deluxe diesel, 1964 with 5000 hours, engine rebuilt at some unknown number of hours ago. It is partly restored with excellent rubber and I paid $4250 for it. I think that's generally high compared to what I've seen online, but I was the first one to see it even before it was advertised for sale and indicate an interest, and had a waiting list behind me for it if I decided to not buy it. It turned out to be a great tractor at an acceptable (but not a bargain) price for my area. I get the impression that cost can vary a whole lot depending on area and condition. I'm in south-central Washington state. You might go to the frame at the left on the YT site and in the "Research & Info" section, click on "Tractor Values" and see what others paid, or go to one of the other sites like agdealer.com or ironsearch.com and search for similar tractors and see what they are going for - especially if you can find them in your area.

You might also look for a serial number and in the same section of the frame at the left, click on "Serial Numbers" and see if you can find it to get the year and also if it's a TO of MF.
