I'm new to the Massey board, so I'm hoping you gurus can help..... ..My grandfather ran a M-H dealership about 60 years ago in Nebraska, and out of nostalgia ,and necessity, I'd like to come up with an old Massey to put back to work. I just bought a small (25 acre) farm and need a tractor to push snow, mow the ditches, do a little plowing and discing and general acerage work. I have in mind a Massey 44 to replace my John Deere B, but need a three point hitch for my shredder, disc and other stuff. I've never seen a 44 with a 3 point, and would like to see a picture of what the set up looks like, and also know what is involved in converting a Massey 44 to three point. Thanks.

I do belive any of the triple numbered tractors, 222, 333, 444, &555, have bolt holes in the rear chasis for a mount for the three point linkage, myself have a 444 tractor that came out of Yorkton Saskatchewan, . but it is a standard version, I'd have to remove part of the rear deck to install it. i have seen some standards with a three point link, but are rare, as for the linkages I dont know who sell them . i've a linkage kit installed on my john deere 60, use it only for snow & light work.

My Dad has several different Massey Harris's with 3-point. You can contact me and I will give your phone number to Dad and he can call. At this time he gets lost on the computer and is reluctant to email people.

Marlowe, What is the lift capacity of the 3 point on a 444? I believe I read earlier that you have one... Thanks- M.D.
