I have a 135 that had been sitting in a field for several years.Cleaned tank, flushed out lines, new filther etc.Seems like good compression.Had already been either spoiled so I put a whif in after a long time turning for oil pressure and air bleeding. It fired off but quit.Giving it more fuel while running makes no difference. It sounds like it's starving for fuel but...I ain't a mechanic, just an almost parts changer. Is there a way to check injecter pump to see if it is working at right pressure,or am I just missing something simple which is usually my problem.

Also on the injecter lines, they are numbered on top of the filther.# 1 is from filther to back of pump.#2 is from bowl to filther. Is # 3 supposed to be to front of pump? There is a plug that goes in #3 or #4.Any help would surely be appreciated.

Bleeding any MF is difficult at any time. If ether has been used regularily in the past there will be damage to all cylinder walls. DOES THE TRACTOR SMOKE WHILE TURNING OVER. If yes then a injecter problem/compression pblem, if no then a fuel problem. You can dump in all the ether you want but if you have no fuel it will NOT START.dj

It is smoking while turning over.Seems to have lots of compression.I can't get it to bleed through the injector lines but very little fuel and no air.If you take the top injector line off at the pump and turn the engine over or manuel pump it,should it pump out fuel or does it have to be under pressure to pump?

Make absolutely sure ALL of the air is bled out of the pump, high pressure lines and the injectors. A very small amount of air will keep the engine from starting. Good luck.

Pull your fuel pump , it should be a CAV , there are two little check valves in there , one in , one out . make sure they are in place and working , examine diaphram for leaks , might as well replace it when you're in there . Any excess oil in engine crankcase , sure sign that it's leaking . Also , tow starting works at times , unles you,ve got MP---- Bill

Make sure that you have bled everything including injectors , lossen 2 , leave them loose until it fires and runs on it's own . Leave ether in garage . ---Bill
