Why are there not parts to rebuild the steering box on a TO35 Ferguson? All the adds I see are for the complete box. All I find wrong with mine are the three bearings that fit around the steering shaft are bad. To replace them would be a lot cheaper than purchasing the entire unit.
Can anyone help me on this?

I was able to get the bearings and seals (don't
forget those) thru a local MF dealer. I think
they get most of their stuff from Tisco. Let me
know if you need part numbers. Is it power steering?

In the past I've had very good luck with a company called Erie Bearings. They can often times go from part #, but if that doesn't work, they can go from specs & description. Good luck & I hope this helps.

The bearings, I beleive, are available
at the Agco dealer. If they don't have the
bearings, you may want to try a Ford
dealer. It may be that an "N" tractor
uses the same bearings. I have heard this somewhere before.
