Could you guys share any information about a Massey Harris model 20? I have one, it was my grandfathers. I don't know much about it but i'd like to get it running again. I believe it is a 1947. Are these worth anything? Are they kind of rare? I couldn't find one in the photo gallery. It has a narrow front end. and where is a good place to buy engine parts? Thanks in advance, Kent

Kent,

I can answer some questions. The MH 20 is not a rare bird and not particularly highly sought after as the MH Colt or Mustang would be. There were about 8000 built (give or take a few) in row crop and standard versions and was basically the same tractor as the MH 81. They had a 124 Cu inch 4 cylinder continental engine. The low fuel grade version had a 140 cu inch engine. It was about 20 HP drawbar and 27 belt HP and were considered a light 2 plow tractor. They had a mechanical lift and were about 2500 to 2600 pounds. If you post the serial number I can tell you the year exactly. If there isn't a serial number plate, you can find it stamped into the top housing of the transmission plate. It can be hard to see but its there on the left side just to the behind where your foot would rest and towards the seat.
