Dave: Gas or diesel? The 85 I had was on 14.9x38 rears but there were a bunch of them sold on 16.9x30 when they had reduction gears on the axles. Watch it if you get her out on the road. They are fast enough to be dangerous. And keep the steering tight. Tom

I have a 69 model with the continental gas motor, and it has the 16.9x30 rears on it. The front end trouble at high speeds that Tom speaks of is enough to worry even the most bravehearted. I should know, mine is all worn out from years of use as a front-end loader tractor. What year is your tractor?

I have a 90 with 38 in. rears. Like the others guys have said, in 8th gear the thing will outrun your nerve. I've got the service manuals as well as an operator's manual and have the charts in them for various size tires. Your local MF dealer should still be able to get you a copy of an operator's manual and it's worth every penny to get it. If you don't have any luck, let me know and I'll try to make a trip to the farm and get the information for you.
