I recently purchased a MH/MF tractor. The serial number is SCM 500093. The serial number plate on the dash says Massey - Harris - Ferguson MH 50.
Is this a Massey Harris 50 or a Massey Ferguson 50, or are they the same? The original decals on the side of the hood say "Massey Ferguson 50."
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also what are the correct colors for this tractor?
Many thanks

Hi Larry=The data I have on this tractor says the MH model 50 is the result of the merger between massey and ferguson in 1953.In 1955 ferguson built the model 40.The massey dealers were offered the same tractors as the model 50.The model 40 and model 50 are the same tractor except for the sheet metal. In 1958 when both dealers were brought together the tractor became the Massey-Ferguson Model 50.The serial numbers for the MH model 50 are [1955-500,001 to 500,472][1956-500,473 to 510,763][1957-510,764 to 515,717].Hope this helps you. Bruce
