In Nov. I was at a sale in Iowa and met someone who maybe able to help. Where are you located, I will look up some peoples names and numbers I have. they are mostly located in Iowa and Wis. I just got a complete, but apart, 44 h260 gas for $70 with new over haul kit. It was at a huge Massey sale and at the end, no one stayed around. Thanks Matt

David,
Unless you just arrived, there are no reasonable
prices on wear parts for classic 44 tractors. In the past year, the crunch is evident at auctions.
A 44D, no hydraulic,not stuck, not running,$700.,
about six weeks ago. There was one for sale at
$500., no starter"parked" several years. I called
on an engine ad on Y.T., the seller had gotten 20
responses.Don't expect much, unless you go find it.
That no starter/$500. is in Washington, if you are interested, I'll send you the e mail. Good
Luck!
