Have this 1960 with original generator, but the tag is unreadable and can't determine the amperage rating which I need to know to install new voltage regulator. How can I determine this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Chuck,
I can't help you with the amp rating of the Gen but I have gotten a new regulator from my parts house by looking it up in a book. The original was a Delco-Remy 1118981. The replacement that I got was a Standard VR 220. The model generator is a Delco Remy 1100383. Hope that this helps.
