I need to buy a manual but I don't want to get the wrong one. Are all MF265's covered in the service manual
also wondering if anyone would know where to put the hydraulic fluid. There seems to be a tank in the side rail of the front end loader but I don't know if that fluid is a part of the Transmission and rear hydraulics.

that tank on the loader is for the LOADER ONLY. the fluid for the rear end is right next to the gearshift levers, i think it is a 15/16" hex head on it. the dipstick for the rear end is by your right heal, by the differential pedal. if it looks a quart low, it will probably take a gallon like my 285 does. As far as I know all massey 265's are covered in a general service manual. Most aftermarket service manuals will also cover several other similar models of the same production/ series, like maybe a 235 or a 275, but don't quote me on this.

I'm not really sure. How much is leaking out? I would almost have to say no, but I've never really had my massey's apart for brakes and I really don't know. Go to Big Dean's website, It's somewhere in the forum or archives. He's the expert.
