I am starting to start pulling tractors and I'm wanting a big v8 tractor. May people say go with the 2255 Oliver, because its cheaper for parts. Which one do you think is the stronger all around tractor. Which engine can you get more horses out of, the Cat or the Perkins.

You should try your post in the tractor pulling section, but personally I'd go with a tractor that I would have fun with and enjoy. Also I would probably try to be different, meaning that if in your area everybody is pulling Masseys, I'd find a Ollie just to stir up the competition, but that's me.
