I'm looking for a 3 cly. perkins block as mine is broken beyond repair. What is the difference between the blocks if the injectors go in the head at an angle or go in straight down from the top?

There are also differences in the AD3-152 block, depending on serial number. I had to replace mine, and the first one I got was missing a coolant hole in the head surface. You need to carefully match up!

The injectors at 80 degrees angle are direct imjection ie AD3-152 used in the MF135. The verticle injectors are the normal A3-152 motor used in the earlier MF35. I replaced a gasket recently and the blocks although similar, do not appear to be interchangable. The other variable is the type of crankshaft seal ie rope or lip which makes the ckanks not interchangable on some motors. see bareco.com.au to check what cranks and seals are used.
