Does anyone in Australia know, if there is a Ryco oil filter to fit the P6 Perkins diesel Engine.

Dear David,
fleetguard make a filter to fit the Perkins P6, however the filter holder on my 744D was different and I ended up adapting another filter to fit. If you have the vokes oil filter unit take the filter holder with you and you can easiler find a filter to fit. There is room for quite a bit of adjustment as far as height and external diameter. The main limiter is the internal diameter. I obtained a fleetguard filter and cut the inside diameter wider at the top with a pair of tin snips and it seems to work.

I would however recommend taking the filter holder with you. Any place that sells fleetguard filters should be able to help.
