My MF 35 3 cyl diesel was rebuilt recently and the oil pressure will start off at 50 psi and then after 15 to 20 minutes of use will drop to about 15 psi. Should I be concerned? Thanks

Don't trust your dash gage, check your oil pressue
at the block.Sometimes those dash gages are not
very accurate.I knew a guy who tore his down
because of low oil pressure,it was just a bad gage.

I would be concerned if it was mine & it only had 15 psi at operating speed at an idle it would not be quite so bad but still to low

What weight oil do you use? I have some warm weather, so I use 15-40. Good Luck, Mike D

Isn't that pressure ok, after the oil warms up, it will become more runny (less viscous), so the pressure would drop, RIGHT?

Yes, but the amount cold and hot is what matters. If that's at idle like someone else mentioned it may be kinda ok. If it's 15 psi at working rpm, that's pretty dang low. Incorrect bearing to crank clearance, bad oil pump or some other loose clearance that won't create enough oil restriction to produce pressure.
