hello,
I'm new to the world of tractors and have recently purchased a massey ferguson which i was led to believe is a MF35, it is a 4 cylinder petrol 4 speed with high and low range, there doesn't seem to be any serial #'s apart from 400207 over 1 rear axle and 400205 over the other. Would any1 be able to give me an idea on id-ing my machine....pls

The normal place for a model & s/n tag is up on the dash... It's a 2" x 2" silver colored tag. If that's gone, let's start with the engine size. Below the alternator or generator, just above the "oil pan" is a series of raised letters. 120 = the 20 (you don't have one if you have high low) 129 = 30, 134 = 35,40,50 & prob some others. If it's a 134, the next step would prob be to describe the grill as best possible. Hope this helps - ALAN

My 1964 35 has 3 speed + reverse with high and low range.

I will need someone to verify this, but is it me, or were all 35's 6 speed?
Does it have 2 gear sticks or only 1?
If it only has 1, then I THINK it is probably a Ferguson, not on Massey Ferguson.
Would someone please verify this!

My 1957 Ferguson TO-35 has 6 forward speeds, 2
reverse (2 shift levers).
