The Massey Ferguson industrial tractor have basically the same running gear as the farm tractor. They have a heavier non adjustable front axle most have a different steering system & most have a shuttle shift transmission. The MF20 shares sheet metal the MF135. The MF30 Shares sheet metal with the MF165. The MF40 & the MF50 do not share sheet metal with any of the farm tractors. The later models pretty much share sheet metal with the 200 series Farm tractors. For loader work the industrial tractors are better because of the Heavier front axle. In this area $6000 is a little high for an MF20 that would be a good price for an MF20C

I have a M-F 2135. It is classified as an industrial. The major difference in it and a 135 is a heavier, non adjustable front axel and a shuttle shift transmission. Mine has 3 pth and pto. It also has 24" rear wheels. some Industrials do not have 3 pth. I really likee the shuttle shift when doing blade work or cutting grass in tight places. I use a 6 ft. rotary cutter and a 7 ft. flail mower with it. BTW, it has a 134 Continental gas engine.

Sounds like mine. My 2135 doesn't have the shuttle shift trans. but does have 24" rims and Z-134 gas engine. I really like it but there's little magic to an industrial. A few features but nothing to jack the price out of sight.

Great tractors whether yellow or not.

sounds like mine. I have a 1963 MF 35 with the z-134 motor and power steering, 3-pth, and an accelerator and I love it. Bought it for $1600.00.
