I just looked at one the other day and could easily develop a relationship with that tractor. Owner says it's a 1950. Looks real nice but haven't heard it run. Supposedly starts right up and runs great.
Horsepower? Weight? Feller is askin $3200 for it. That seems high to me. What do you think?

26hp, 34hp on the pto..162Cu.in Continental, it replaced the 101 Junior. Good motors. $3200 seems high, unless it's restored with new tires. I'm assuming it just has a draw bar hitch, and not a 3-pt.

There are alot of these around in Canada. With the exchange rate, you could pick one up in Canada for under a $1000 U.S. Check out the photo ads.

Thanks for the info, Dave. It has a nice paint job but is not what you would call restored. Owner says it has a 2 point hitch. I'm not at all familiar with that. I'm considering swapping a 300 Utility w/loader for it but I think my tractor is worth more than the MH 30.
Would it weigh more than a Case VAC or SC?

Dave's right, that price is VERY HIGH I would say. Up here I see 30's (wide fronts) advertised for between $750 to $1500 Canadian and when you think that your dollar is worth $1.65 Canadian, that's pretty cheap. You could drive up here and have a holiday, haul it home and still be ahead. And, drink some Candian beer while you're up here. Your 300 is a much more valuable tractor than the Massey is.

Thanks, Alberta Mike. Maybe I could get him to throw in that cute Farmall B he's got sitting right there beside it.

Check the tractor photos on this website (look left). I don't think so but I'm uninitiated in Massey/Harris/Ferguson.
