I have a MF 40B Industrial and would like to find a backhoe unit to add to it. It Currently has a PTO and the 3 Point Hitch with no remote hydraulics, Can A Backhoe unit be added and if so how difficult will it be? I am guessing that I will need to add remote hydraulics somehow also?

Any advice or info will be appreciated.

Tks,

Leo

Leo,

I am in the process of doing the asme thing to my MF 40 industrial. My control valve is the vertical style (levers on top) not the horizontal style (levers on back side). It has a port for "power beyond" (that's what MF calls it), that I am buying a new plug for that will let me attach the hose/pipe line to the backhoe supply line. Then I am taking the backhoe return line to the tank, which is accessed by the plug on the lower, right inboard side of the tractor frame in front of the rear axle.

Wondering what the difference is between the 40 & 40B. I am looking for 3 point pto & link arms. Would you consider selling yours if they will fit mine? For how much also? Thanks & I hope this helped.

Tim
