I recently purchased an MF 202, 4 cyl, 12 hp gasoline tractor. I have no idea what year it is! The serial # reads JGF 304587. I can tell the original color was yellow, though it is red now. It has power steering, and a 3 pt hitch. I welcome any information anyone might have. This is a great website. I bought this tractor to mow the 3 acres I purchased and it runs great! Don't think your tractor is 12hp because these 202's were 35 to 37 HP if it is gas. GOOD LUCK

That serial number places it as a "59".
Recommend finding on this site the manuals for the tractor. At least buy the parts manual and service manual. Owners manual basically usless.
Welcome to the world of industrials... Great tractor hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the info. Need more than the starter drive as the nose (cast part) broke. The starter drive in the original is good and real hd looking compared to the new ones.
Thanks again will check them out.
