Just bought a 165 that has been sitting in a barn a long time. It needs a clutch and the multi power, is locked in low range with haywire. Should I leave it that way, or fix it? How much does it cost to fix one of these? Is it a clutch pack arrangement, or a converter deal? I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Hal

I put a auxillary hydraulic pump in mine and the m.p. started working, problem could be a number of things, we used this tractor for 7 years stuck in low. I'd hate to pour a bunch of money into something that was not too reliable when it was new.

The Multipower is a shift on the go two speed that gives you 12 forward & 4 reverse speeds. When they are in low they have no engine braking. Check out this Photo album it has a lot of information on the Multipower transmission. If you have any questions Email me.
