MF135 front axle, problems?

I've seen messages saying that the 135 front axle does not like prolonged loader usage. Is this because of the front axle pin, which to me seems pothetically thin?
The tractor I have is about 25-30 years old, and the pin is badly worn, and did not have a loader used on it, will it withstand 4-5 houres a day, 2 times a week?
Thanks alot, Jack M, UK

I have a 1964 MF135 that I use daily for hay work,
cattle feeding, grading and dirt work. In order to keep the front end on the ground when lifting
heavy loads on the 3 pt I have kept 200 lb front weight on the tractor. I have replaced the bushings once. The pin has never been a problem.

I believe that is the single most important distinction between the 135 and the 2135 (industrial). They beefed up the front axel on the 2135. You might see if you can get a 2135 pin or axel to retro-fit your 135 for better loader work.

My loader lives on my 2135 and sees lots of heavy use.
