I have a MF1105 and want to drain all the ugly lookin hyd. oil and change the filters. The MF manual says 17 gallons will drain but 5
gallons will remain in the system. If Im gonna change the oil & filters I would like to get it all out.

The brakes (which use the same hyd oil)need to be drained to,short of taking the tractor rearend
apart?

There is more than one drain plug under tractor. I think when you take out both you will get all of the oil. Don't waste any time to change if oil looks bad. MF tractor hydraulics have never been the best even under ideal conditions.
